The City of Sarajevo Open Day was held in the premises of the Information centre on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
The City of Sarajevo Open Day was held in the premises of the Information centre on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, organized by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) and the City of Sarajevo.
As part of the ACCESS project – Access to rights for women through sharing information and engagement with the authorities in the City of Sarajevo and its municipalities, discussion of topic with our guests was: ’’Human rights- Women, a symbol of resistance and courage.’’ Women who, during the war, worked as doctors, teachers and professors and other jobs, who through their own example and through different aspects of their work found strength and were a symbol of resistance and courage, shared their experience.
Visitors had the opportunity to have the information about the work of the City of Sarajevo Service and about the work of the Sarajevo Information centre on ICTY (https://icmksj-sarajevo.ba/en/home/).
For the youngest visitor a children’s workshop was organized by’’Teta pričalica’’ (https://pricalica.ba/).
The evaluation of the project activities was carried out by the representatives of TANA 21 (www.tana21.ba), who spoke with the visitors of the Open day to collect the feedback.
