#PCRCInterns had the opportunity to visit the Sarajevo Information Centre on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). During their visit, they watched the film “Srebrenica Genocide: No Room for Denial,” which is an integral part of the ICTY Outreach Program. The session included a comprehensive lecture by Ismena Causevic, expert assistant at the Center. Following the film and lecture, there was an engaging discussion about the legacy of the ICTY, its impact on international justice, and the ongoing efforts to combat genocide denial. The visit was both educational and thought-provoking, providing the interns with deeper insights into the atrocities of the Srebrenica genocide and the importance of preserving historical truth.
